Amazing Goggle at a Fantastic Price
Kind of a long term review, had the Stunt with Photochromic and low light smoke lens for the last 2 years. Had with me in Chamonix France, Hakuba Japan and various ski hills in eastern and western Canada and the Stunt never disappoint. The fit, finish, and value upstage all the other bigger brands. It really show you how much of a mark up the bigger brands are charging you for a goggle. Pro: -value -helmet compatible -huge customization -eco friendly, if your scratched the lens or broke a strap, it easy to replace and very inexpensive; unlike other brand where the price of a new lens is about the price of their last season complete goggle Con: -pay attention after you change the lens that the frame and the foam around the lens is a proper fit. I didn't notice it one time after changing the lens, there is a slight gap between the lens and the frame even though all the hooks are snapped in place. The gap is small, but did managed to drive some wind into the goggle. Just give the lens and the frame a little massage all the way around after you changed the lens to make sure the lens is seated properly. Note: -this one is more specific to me being Chinese. If you are of Asian descent, have a look at Stunt Asian fit instead of the one here. I just got the Asian Fit Stunt the other day and it makes a world of difference. The regular Stunt will leave a gap between the nose piece and your nose, driving wind and/or powder into your eye.
Best goggles I've had in a long time
It's a refreshing change when you get something with such a high quality, that works, looks good and costs so little nowadays. The Stunt goggles are top notch. Great lens quality, easy to change, with lots of options. The Detector lens made the terrain "pop" on the very low light, snowy day I used them, with the dark smoke lens taking care of most other light conditions. Fit was great, with or without a helmet. Comparing the construction to other goggles I've had in the past, these will stand up to some serious use and abuse. Also, about all the interchangeable strap and lens options. I've never been a guy to match my ski outfits (I do attempt to somewhat match the duct tape color on my pants and jackets), but for the price of the straps I might have some fun with different combinations. Bottom line is that Stage makes great goggles. Definitely the goggles I'll be using this year and for many years to come.
